In 2024 I started forming an egregore, on twitter. I did this by learning things in my own language. I’d ask my open questions, most people in the network didn’t know the answer, but those who did would contribute and say “this is already well known in <domain X>”
I’d take that and integrate it, compress it. Those in domain X say “you need to read this book” or “this 5000 word LessWrong essay”, but they’re wrong. The idea is simple. The path to uncover the idea was difficult. You don’t need to make all the wrong turns to deeply understand & build on the truth.
I think I created “the smartest common language”. EVERY tribe has people they are unable to integrate. But then I could see it fracturing. That’s when I tried building the semantic search tools & ORI
Defender: <describes something in plain language>
rationalist: that’s just hammerschmidst’s paradox, lol, read up on 2011 LessWrong
