Smugbug knows about the “University of Zurich” scandal, I should read their take on it. This represents for me the “open-closed” research gap. We are both aware of this. But we may have different ideas about how to solve it

Ideally we find something “spicy”, something we genuinely truly disagree on (we seem to have a LOT of overlap and just different language to express the thing, but I think there’s got to be open questions that we diverge on)

it’s also possible that Smugbug 100% agrees with my take, but that those who follow me who are pro open memetics have a less nuanced take, and me telling Smugbug “no, I don’t mean fully open like THAT” would fill in that gap/nuance
