I know it’s dangerous to write down the real big picture of what’s actually happening1 but I think there exists a “safest legible” big picture of humanity. What’s the MOST that can be communicated to the “normie floor” without upsetting anyone. One simple, cohesive, true picture that you can ELI5.
We don’t actually need permission to find the truth - you can just talk to a random guy in every industry and field, and you’ll find out the state of civilization. It’s just that broadcasting it will get you in trouble. So then you have a class of people who pretend not to know - they will try to make money with this knowledge, or seek power. Or just kinda vaguepost & keep watching the live game.
