I have a lot of things I want to talk about, that would be positive for the world, but it would reveal too much personal information/information about my collaborators/friends/family.
BUT - if YOU send me YOUR anonymous confessions, things YOU wish you could talk about but don’t want it to come from you - I can talk about it safely, and you can get the information out, safely.
(and, this means I can also sneak in some things and say “oh this is from an anonymous person” but it’s actually about me - we build some shield/cover)
